Hi from Art from Oz

Just wanted to introduce myself on the forum, Looks like I will be in Namibia for most of next year.
I was the ASRA Gyro News editor for 2 years and am hoping to do some more writing and photography if I get any spare time.
I'll start reading through the forums soon to get the feel of the place and hope to catch up with some flyers in the new year.

Sadly our planned April trip has had to be postponed due to other unavoidable commitments :-(
It will most probably only happen in July.
Pity. Will keep you posted.

I heard a rumour that Swakop airfield is CLOSED? Is this true?

There has been a gyro flying around Swakopmund lately, I haven't seen it myself so not sure of the make. Any ideas how to contact the pilot ? Wold love to catch up and get some photos.

Stationed in Walvis, we are 2 x Microlights and 1 Gyro in the hanger, you can contact me on oh8one1four9six9nine6. Wheather was terrible the last 2 months. Hope your arrival comes with good weather!
