I have asked Falcon which date suit him, Either 27th Oct or 3rd Nov...we'll plan it then according to what fits in with his plans.

Paul the weathers going to interfere no matter how we plan these things chom. (I can just hear those blik drivers laughing and saying "Ya I told you not to buy a samoosa!") .

That is why I say we must be more flexible. Lets say this Saturday we arive at ML & WX is good...then whoever is there can join in to do the imprompto weg vlieg.

For consistency and continuity I think the "Fly and Braai's" must stay booked for every 3rd Sat of the month..

100% Alan. I am suggesting something for all the other days.

There are many destinations within 50 miles to fly to and back. Once we've gone to Klip, I suggest we hit Savannah Game Lodge (up north) after.

Jip, but for that sort of thing I would like to stay over for the night. Gives more freedom on activities after landing...if you know what I mean huh? Whoever wants to go home imediately can obviously do so...but please stay...it will be fun. There is also Ntokozo, Tribal's place.

I'd also like to plan a nice overnighter somewhere every 3 months or so. First one I will arrange is Elands Camp. I will chat to Blue Max and see what dates in Nov we can pick.

Bottom line guys, yes let's make plans but if the weather screws you, the weather screws you....that is part of the game.

That is the name of the game if you fly an almost lighter than air aircraft. I have been pax in many light aircraft (Piper/Lancair/Cessna/Zodiac/RV10/Long-EZ..) and we have flown through thunderstorms in pelting rain. You hardly feel it. A Trike would have been riped apart.

I will be at ML Saturday...oom Hans is doing my annual ATF inspection and issueing a new Weight & Ballance certificate. As always, hope to see you guys there. Al weer k@k en betaal tyd ...What keeps an aircraft in the air.....MONEY

I will be going out on Sunday morning...It's Stef's weekend but when he's done flying (hopefully if weather allows) I need to prep the plane and programme the GPS for next weeks little belt down to visit Asterix.

The inspection is normally done in the hangar. Shouldn't take long. Hans is very, very familiar with every millimeter of AMH.

No problem Alan. I saw Fiezel on Sat pm. I flew to Rhinopark on Sunday am. Had my coffee from the flask in the panier and checked out the place. Nice runway. Was a very pleasant flight.

Duno when you are planning to fly to Standerton but WX for weekend, again, does not look good. Hope it changes by then. The until Thursday looks excelent. I will be there again tomorrow am.

Had to abort my flight with Fiezel this morning Spat bracket broke on threshold of 03 Luckily I noticed it on my final pre-flight before entering and lining up. Spoke to Hans, he will fix it. I had no tools at the airfield so I couldn't even remove the spat I ususally take my toolbox with me but alas, this morning I didn't. Sorry Fiezel. Hope you enjoyed your flight. WX was perfect .
