What Bundy say's is true. The two most important things that make you go solo is Confidence and Competancy.
When you are learning to fly there is two graphs. One is Confidence and the other Ability to fly. In the beginning of your training, the graph that shows your ability to fly is way infront/ahead of your confidence graph. When the two graphs start to look the same, in otherwords your confidence graph has caught up with your ability to fly graph, then you know you are ready to go solo.
Congrats Ant. Remember, becoming a pilot is like an artisan. Once you have qualified, then only do you really start to learn your trade, and in a pilots world, the same, constantly a learning curve.

Congrats Anthony!! Yesterday exactly a year ago I got my licence, also felt like it was far away after I went solo, but actually that was the quick part! The long bit was getting to go solo!!
