(Near) Impala Strike!
I guess flying in Africa comes with a unique set of challenges!
This was one of a herd of about 20 Impala that crossed 27 at Silver Creek (Buffelspoort) on landing!
Although I had cleared 27 with an inspection run, it just proves how these dangers can sneak up on one!

At around 5mph my trike basically S-L-I-C-E-D the herd in two!!
Those last two were the "should we/shouldn't we" of the first half! You can see me looking at the others on the left of me, thinking "N-O-O-O-O . . . don't!"

Jeez!! Thank goodness they didnt pop out of nowhere at touchdown!! Cant think a rooibokkie going through the prop is gonna leave a nice looking result!
But in the bright side your biltong will be pre-sliced
What camera you using John?? I've ordered my Drift 1080 HD now, wondering hoe to mount on the Raptor!!
