Folding pilon for windlass

Postby Trytofly » Tue May 16, 2006 10:09 am

I hanger my Windlass in a standard hanger. Has anyone converted a Windlass to fold above the passanger seat like an Aquilla?

Ive seen it done on several Windlass

Using a piece approp. sized of channel iron as a bracket, drilled and bolted in a couple of places and then the mast marked out and cut.

Obviously NOT a legal mod to do.
Suggest you get Aiden and the boy's to supply/ build you a proper one like the Aquilla and then get it approved with some proving flights
