New Hobbs/Hour meter?

Postby Beefmaster » Sat Aug 18, 2012 9:06 pm

Hi Guys,

I am keen to fit a proper dash mounted hour meter to my trike, as it currently has an external flight timer (like a stopwatch). Is it possible to set its initial value or does it have to run from zero? I ask because I dont want confusion later, I would like to adjust the hour meter onto the trike's current hours so that it just keeps counting from there.

Any advice??

Thanks,

Gavin

Connect a battery to the new one and set your alarm clock to however many hours you have on the old hour meter. Tough luck if your have to jump out of bed at 3am to turn it off!!!

Haha!! Fantastic idea! I saw you get vibration hour meters as well, considered getting one of those and leaving it on the fridge for a few weeks!! :)

Contact MGL in Cape Town, they have a smart single, revcounter, flight timer and hour mater combined, and you can set the hour meter to your existing hours.
Phone 021-8551383.

I have one, workes great.

Regards,

Rusty
