Hi Guys
As a novice to the microlight/trike fraternity, I have a few questions regarding the legal obligations when maintaining your own trike.
1) What maintenance am I aloud to do myself?
2) What maintenance must be done by a certified person?
3) Am I aloud to overhaul my own motor?
4) How often is a certified prop inspection required & what is the costs involved?
5) How often do I need to have a MPI/ATF done & what costs is involved in this?
6) What is the maintenance intervals of a wing, prop, motor & undercarriage respectively?
7) I would recon must of the info would be published in the CAT’s, does anybody know in which subsection to look?
Any names of certified people in the Cape Town area that can do MPI/ATF’s that I can talk to?
Regards
