FREE HUMAN FACTORS PRESENTATION - CAPE TOWN

Postby Steveh » Sun Jul 01, 2012 4:59 am

Colleagues

As promised, I have organised for Dr Nicklas Dhalstrom to present in Cape Town on the 18 July 2012. What I need to find out is, who will be interested and where should it be held, current locations, Stellenbosch or Morningstar. He is a brilliant presenter and I'm sure everyone would benefit from hearing him speak. Previously, we held this in JNB, we had a great turn out and commendable remarks - we look forward to seeing you support.

Here's a summary of Dr Nic's experience:

Nicklas Dahlstrom is a Human Factors and Crew Resource Management researcher and instructor who is currently working for Emirates Airline. He was previously working at Lund University School of Aviation on projects related to safety and Human Factors in aviation as well as in other areas, such as maritime transportation, nuclear industry and rescue services. His main research areas have been mental workload, training and simulation and he has written a number of research articles and book chapters on Human Factors and CRM as well as lectured in more than a dozen different countries.

I also think that it supports the Aero Club Safety Campaign very nicely
