Hi James,

I'm very glad that you finally have some good news regarding the Cobra's wing. I have anxiously followed the progress since your first ferry flight and am relieved that the set up is now correct.

I too feel very priveledged to be based at at airfield with some of the best instructors around. Mervyn, Fanie and Hans have always been willing to lend a hand in situations like this.

I would hope that a lot of people sit up and take notice after reading this thread. As much as the various Manufacturers have to run a profitable business....they also have a great responsibility to uphold. We as pilots entrust our lives to their workmanship and although they must also make a buck or two at the end of the day, making money can never come in front of making sure each and every "jobcard" is given their best and undivided attention regardless of the circumstances.

Now go have fun in that beautiful plane boet! (!!) vhpy

Thanks Bundy. However I feel like I vented a bit too much and I am changing my post. Just to be courteous , doesn't make me less mad!

I also got a plane back from a manufacturer that could not even take off but was "test flown". Not the same one as in the rest of the thread.

Point is: have your plane checked by an experienced test pilot when it comes back from repair before you fly it.
