First Black Pilot at Kroon Airfield

We just want to congratulate Patrick Mampane who qualified as our first black pilot at Rosslyn Microflyers, Kroon Airfield.

Patrick, now the real training starts.

Patrick - welcome to the skies my friend.

Personally I take offence at the heading - makes you look "special" - like a BEE or AA deal. For me, you are just another "earth-bound misfit" who yearned for the skies and realised your dream.

The nice thing about the sky is that there are no "special" people up there. Only pilots. And the turbulence / thermals / gusts / etc, treats you for what you are, not what you look like.

Yes as Asterix said there are no special pilots, neither black ,or white for that matter, there are GOOD pilots and BAD pilots. Whichever one you will turn out to be is your CHOICE :lol: :lol:
