ANNUAL KLIPRIVER WINTER BREAKFAST FLY-IN 14 JULY

Postby falconp1 » Tue Jun 05, 2012 7:46 pm

Hi guys and gals.

Klipriver airfield is once again hosting a breakfast fly-in.

There will be free coffee, tea and hotdogs as usual or if there is enough interest I'll even make some pap and wors as well.

Last year was a great success and we hope to do the same this year.

If you have any queries or suggestions let me know. We can even move the date up for those attending the Komatipoort bash.

As you can see we moved the date up to the 14th of July

Duck Rogers has invited me along to Oshkosh with him which will take place from the 23rd-29th of July.
This is a first for me so you can imagine my excitement. vhpy

Kliprivier = 26°28'31.87"S 28°6'42.45"E Alt 5000ft

Last year we used Special Rules South 125.6 but it got very congested at arrival and departure. I will be consulting will the powers that be about using 135.5. Will let you know as soon as I have an answer.

Guys please tell all your flying buddies.

Guys I'm speechless.

Niren at Comet Aviation has very generously sponsored the Klip fly-in with this magnificent pair of headsets.

We will be giving them away in a lucky number draw. They will be give away as a pair. You will have to be present at the draw and it is only for PIC. Passenger does not qualify.

Just waiting to hear from Tanya at MISASA about the frequency to be used on the day.

The Gemini System is a fully self-contained communication system designed to meet the needs of todays Pilot.

The control Headset (Pilots Headset) can be used individually as a single normal headset. It is equipped with a comm-cord which can be plugged into standard aviation jacks in the panel of an aircraft or into an intercom. It has a volume control, push-to-talk button and a squelch control.

•Self-Contained VOX Intercom System
•Superior Squelch Circuitry (No Clipping of words)
•PA9 Noise Cancelling Electret Microphone
•Metal-Flex Fully Adj. Ratcheting Mic Boom
•Built-In Push-To-Talk
•Detent, Low-Profile Volume Control
•PA 150 SuperCushion Headpad
•PA 130 Air-Gel Ear Seals
•Powered by one 9 volt Alkaline Battery
•Three Year Unconditional Warranty
