Tailwheels to Nylstroom 20-22 July 2012

Once again Nylstroom Flying Club and the EAA will be hosting the Tailwheels to Nylstroom the weekend of 20- 22 July 2012.
This is a fly in event purely for fun. No airshow displays. You arrive put up your tent or book in at a B&B and just have fun flying to your hearts content. The Waterberg is a lovely area to fly around with beautiful scenery and a moderate climate.
The evenings we will have fires going with enough refreshments and good friendships.
This is a event not to be missed.2011 we had in access of 100 aircraft
Saturday we will have advisory service for the Nylstroom traffic. SAPFA will once again host a fun Rally during the day that always provides for good fun.
We will soon have a list of places to stay but camping on the airfield is highly recomended.

It is going to be a big one this year! Let us cross fingers to have the DC3 this year. The Harvard Club will be there and will bring spare wheels The Piper Cub 75th anniversary will be celebrated at this fly-in and they hope to bring together a flock of them Cubs. Many microlights will line the taxiway again.

Many thanks to the Nylstroom Vliegklub for the open invitation to all aviators.

To those who have not attended one of this club's events, please do so this year, you will not regret it.

The new radio is almost in and testing will start soon. Installing a panel mount radio in the Cub is a serious upgrade. The tower might actually hear me now and hand signals not needed anymore. I am going to miss the waving of arms and emergency vehicles at Boom.
