Flying from Cape Town to Carnarvon town this morning. 3 hours, over the big klippe. Stunning weather.
If there is grass between your toes , you're flying to low.....
If ever in doubt about flying - drink a beer.
That will give you at least 8 hours to think about it some more.

Can't fly. I'm sitting in Polokwane in my new place trying to get all the boxes out of my live, and Geel Kerneels and The Yellow Cobra is at Microland.

Hopefully I'll be collecting The Yellow Cobra later in June : Microland - Elands Camp - Polokwane via the " Zebedelia Gap" Apparantly it "stamps" nicely as you cross those mountains!

Then first order of business is to go and visit Nicow and the rest of the Potties people! (^^)

I did an AWESOME 50 minutes around Harties yesterday morning . . . . still on an "aviator's high" from it!! (^^)

It was my sister's first flip with me, and I'll quote her: "That was probably one of the best experiences of my life"! (^^)

Awesome fotos Madman! Thanks for sharing!

It has reminded me to overfly the crater! I've been planning it for a while!

FYI: Tswaing Asteroid Crater is believed to have been created when an Asteroid weighing about 300,000 tonnes and traveling at 16Km a second collided with Earth about 200,000 years ago!! (**)

Hey John vhpy

Thanx for the awesome info ##

That is a really a beautiful site and to be flying over it just makes you feel really awesome knowing that you are seeing some part of SA/World History... ##

Would have even been better if there was a strip with a coffee shop next to it

Where to next :?:
