Grumpy, kom jy saam? Ek kan jou ook tou. Soos ons destyds daai jabiru agter die 747-400 vas gemaak het by FACT om petrol te bespaar jo'burg toe.

Nee o dinges Tobie. Ek het darem mos ook my eie respekte.(In my familie is Toyota soos n broer in die tronk. Jy weet van hom maar jy praat nie oor hom nie.)
Ek het a ratax vol olie. Ek wil net he die mense moet gaan want deesdae smaak dit my moet n mens omtrent gat lek om ouens op n fly in te kry.

Dan moet ons maar almal in daai boeing van jou klim, jy vlieg dan nou eersteklas goeters. (^^) in 'n oogwink is jy sommer daar, dan roei ons nog oorie berg.

Jy sien, ek het mos toe uiteindelik groot geword en vlieg nou die Bushy. Maar ek mis darem die trike. Ek onthou nog hoe ons een jaar daar op daai koue Carnarvon kom land het wat dit so koud was ons moes die old brown sherry in die cockpit saam vlieg oppie trike. Ek dink hier is nog erens n foto daarvan. Daai jaar toe vat ons die prys vir die manne wat die verste gevlieg het, en dit nog in trikes ook. Geen breins gehad toe nie. Maar nou is dit rustig in die cockpit met die fm'pie en n koppie boeretroos met frikkadelle en, gekookte eiers, koue honder en appelkoos konfeit toebroodjies. Net jammer die softness gaan nie saam nie, iemand moet by die huis bly en die geld in bring vir die vleigtuig se petrol.

Gee dit klink nou soos vlieg in style. Die petrol ding raak nou nogal 'n issue ja. Snaaks dat 'n mens op 'n stadium kom dat die lang trips met die trikes net nie meer so aanloklik is nie. Ek onthou met die Soutbos trip nadat ek en Klaas en Morne op 'n paar wilde perde huis toe is ek die ouens met die "toe" aeries nogal beny het.

Tog sal dit lekker wees as al die ouens weer 'n punt begin maak om die fly-ins te doen, trikes en all. puff

Ek stem. Veral die trike ouens. Ons gesels nou die dag so dat daar weer n plan gemaak moet word soos eendekuil wat nie te ver of te naby is nie. N paar van die ouens hou nie van oor die klippe nie so tanqua is uit. Met die petrol storie is dit maklik. Klim net tot op 11k voet. Van daar af is dit afdraende, maak nie saak waarheen jy gaan nie. He He He

We will have mogas available in 25L drums.We will do a heads up for the pans Friday night and do a quick briefing Sat morning with those going just before pilots briefing
