1. Communicate when needed on the relevant channel
2. Use 123.45 to talk Cr@P to your choinas about how your hot your wifes suster is and whether you wanna jump her bones (or did)
3. Pick a private channel, arrange with your mate on the flight to ensure a tad more silence and monitor both
4. Pull the Radio out of the aircraft and toss it in anyone of the dams you fly over, its useless anyway
5. dont give a shit about anyone else just adopt an " i will do as i please attitude'

As ek te veel op 123.45 gepraat het, sorry vir jou, dit is die strontpraat frekwensie en ek sal stront praat op 123.45 as ek wil. Ek het al baie ander kere gevind dat 123.45 te besig was en moes dan 123.475 gebruik.

Van 124.8 stem ek saam, hou dit kort en op die punt af.

Well chaps, I have it good authority its going to get worse before it gets better, it seems as though paragliders are going to require radios on airband (not 141,6) which is a sensible move. But they are all going to need radios licences and toys....

I really made my name GAT the other day. When I do fly-aways I usually monitor the 124.8 frequency while being on 126.5 (Old CPT FIR, the new one is 131.125). My radio has the ability to monitor on a different frequency while being on the current area frequency. The reason I monitor this is because there are still some pilots who do not use the correct frequency. So it happened that I forgot to switch this monitoring off. And so it happened that the other day I was trying to tell this genius he is on the wrong frequency for the area he was flying. (I was on FADX 124.4) Needless to say he never heard me and those that were on the same frequency as me at a good chuckle at my "paraat-ness"(Old army slang).

So make sure you are not perhaps monitoring a different frequency.

I do however agree there are some okes that talk too much crap on the radio but here in the cpt we don't have that big problem with it.
