10 DAYS.

Hallo everybody,
The plan is to spend the following 10 days flying with my trike.
If the Lord provides good weather 2 morrow I will route from Marble Hall ( Farm at Elands Quad camp and Microlights) to Harstwater.
I will sleep along the way at either Ntkoza, Swartruggens or Delareyville. That will depend on the weather and my mood.
My trike is 12 yrs old and almost at 1000 hrs. But its going like never before.
The plan is also to vissit Carnavon and from there to fly onto some pans in the Northern Cape.
Lets hope everything works out well.
I dont like to plan things to far in advance cause it makes it more difficult.
I will try and post pics and keep you up to date of my movements.
What i do need, will be your encouragement. I have no groundcrew and any help from my readers will be greatly appreciated

Oom Blue Max is on his way to Ntokozo

I flew to Mabalingwe to get some fuel for him and then went to Warmbaths to wait for him

Unfortunately I had to get back to the lodge ( to make him breakfast) and he was still 30 minutes out

Last I heard he was 25min from Ntokozo

I will fly a bit with him towards Swartruggens and will take some pics

Hallo again.
Yes landed safely at Ntkoza Lodge and enjoyed a refreshing breakfast.
What a pleasure to 'fly your aerie into a hanger'.
Was planning to get airborne at 7 but only mannage to get into the air at 8. Cause I had to refasten my luggage.
The 130 KM took me 1 hr 50 min. M ground speed was between 65 and 75 mph. At some stages I did 80 and other times I had to seriously pull bar to get to 60Km ph.
No hickups along the route except that the air became very turbulant about 10 km outbound.
The plan was to route on towards Swartruggens but the last 10 km and the very welcome reception I received made me decide to stay for the night. ( why not I got 10 days to my disposal)
What a pleasure to be in the bush.!!!

Die plan is om more so teen 7 uur in die lug te wees.!! Francois gaan so entjie saamvlieg. (As hy kan byhou. )

Hi Pa

Die tegnologie is darem wonderlik dat ons hier vanuit Kanada Pa se bewegings kan dophou. Dit is lekker om te sien hoe ons Pa op sy ouderdom opgewonde is oor iets en instaat is om die lewe te geniet. Wat 'n insperasie!

Vlieg veilig, want ons sien uit na Pa se kuier hierdie somer.

After doing a bit of "pull starting" morning gym done Blue Max

We left Ntokozo at 7H15 and headed for Vaalkop Dam and then Swartruggens.

I flew with Oom Blue Max for a bit and saw that I was keeping him behind schedule with all the orbits he dad to make and wait for me

So I headed to Koedoeskop and he was inbound for Swartruggens.
