Can anybody tell me where I can find a pair of gloves.??
Of the type where you slide your hands in and out and the gloves remain on the controle bar.
It has to be of the type which you can attatche with valcro onto the controle bar.( I dont facy those that require you to take your controle bar apart.!!)
Thanks for your help. xxx

Hi Blue Max

I have a pair that I never use. They are yours if you want them.

I have a pair that I put on my bar every winter but find it rather difficult to use especially if you wear other gloves as you cannot get your hands in all the way without using your other hand :( They also tend to slide on the bar and I find it difficult to use in conditions where you need to hold on tight

I have tried using those ski gloves (K-Way, First Acsent) etc but find they are not keeping the wind out. Have been flying with leather gloves wit ha fleese liner but now these gloves are all worn out. Anybody know where we can get leather gloves with liners in? Got my in the US a few years ago. Any advice as to which gloves are the best? (**)

The bar gloves TC describes above (Got them with DBP (^^) ) are pretty spacious inside and I have no problem getting my "gloved" hands in and out, as long as the gloves are nice and small and not too bulky. They are also lekker because they have a "window pocket" for carrying extra routing info/a map or whatever. Very nice for this "transition time going into winter where the fingers and knuckles get a little chilly but you dont necessarily want to dress like an eskimo just yet  The big ski/biker gloves are a mission to get in but I bought a pair of gloves from Outdoor Warehouse that worked like a bomb!

They are fleece lined and the brand is called Windproof  (About R130 a pair and they ARE windproof!)

They were great untill some thieving P@&s stole them out of my saddle bag

I have a pair of Aqualung diving gloves. I grabbed them one day when I couldn't find my first ascent gloves.

I have not looked back. My bar mitts were first pushed out the way and now they are kept in the saddle bags for extremely cold days.
