White Eagle - now THERE is a novel idea! (^^) I grew up with the stuff! And it is as you say - soft on the hands! Will definitely try it out! (^^) (^^)

NO Pressure washers on MY wing! (or rather - my TWO wings  ) ## ## Over time you are gonna weaken / stretch the stitching...  There has been previous topics (years old) warning about taking a pressure washer to your wing. Try and drink from it, and see how it hurts your face. Water, given enough velocity, does precision cutting through steel! Now imagine what kind of damage it can do to fabric. (**)

If the seam on your pants rip when you bent over - you only expose your ass. If the seams rip on your wing, any amount of ft / agl: bye - bye leading edge / trailing edge / keelpocket / etc.. Hello hard earth @ terminal velocity. Big mess.

NS: A lot of space and time on this forum is spent on engines, and how to avoid engine-outs, fine-tuning engines, alternatives to current engines etc etc. Precious little time is dedicated to that which actually keeps you flying - your wing! And virtually no time is spent debating on how to look after your wing! It is as if we take the wing for granted!

Given a choice - (The Lord forbid..) - I would rather have a failing motor and a healthy wing, than a great motor and a rotten wing. I would prefer an engine out over a failing wing... :| :|

Klippies ! You'll still see it, but it wont bother you so much.

That's when youre not gonna fly, and when you fly, don't look.
