Yes, Darkish one, you win the price! ( No cash though, just bragging rights!) One would expect the professional who rigged the wing to pay attention to such little details? Before informing you that your trike is a-okay and ready for collection?

Apparently not. But I divulge - I do not believe in smear campaigns!


On a "pre-flight" note to all trikers: Remember TO COUNT YOUR CLIPS!! You can fly the most beautiful / well-kept / stunning / loved / yellow / plane, but one little missing piece of twisted spring steel can lead to your demise..

Wing separation - easily achieved once the wing nut passes the little hole that was supposed to stop it!

NS: These wing nuts all over a trike (with their respective clips) were made for people who want to de- rig their trikes and trailer them down to where ever: - there to fly and look cool. My take: It has a wing, it can fly, so why trailer it? FLY IT!

I think I am going to replace all those loose wingnuts with proper nylon nuts. I'll keep the safety clips for show.

Moet nie vergeet dat die Pink Lady die kaalste Windlass in die lug is nie! Mens moet ver Gaan om sulke skoonheid te oortref!

Ja ja! Ek het baie respek vir die "pink lady." Maar Geel Kerneels dink sy is 'n sissie. Ek het getraai om met hom te praat, maar hy wil niks weet nie - hy seg hy sal respek vir haar kry as sy saam gaan vlieg op 'n 1400 myl avontuur, soos Hy laasjaar gedoen het!
