How does your spouse/partner relate to your flying :?: )
zoofly you certainly struck a cord with this topic, 3 pages in 2 days

I suppose because we can not live with either, the wife and flying that is

The words my wife always utter is "I'm not prepared to raise 3 children on my own" which I suppose is her way of saying those timeless words from Hillstreet Blues "Be carefull out there"
Actualy she's quite cool with it, as long as she gets an hour for every hour that I spend flying (-)
Her other favourite is "I did not ask you how much the gps, flight suit, service...... costed so dont ask me what this new dress costed" ##
No it does not glide- it FLIES

what with commitee meetings, club meetings, instructing most Sat & Sun weekends, popping off to the hanger (10 minutes away) just to "checkout" something ... bless her toes, but she's long resigned to the fact that the battle is lost

...didnt help taking the plane home last 6 weeks to rebuild saying it'l mean more time at home but ending up spending more time in the shed till the wee hrs than in bed with the missus.

I know she reminds me every so often that shes the most important thing in my life and that I wouldnt ever do anything so foloish as to ignoire her or give her anything but 100% of my attention at all other times - jeez im a lucky Guy, i think ill go pop back home on the way to check on that ol geyser (the hot water one!) and ill still get a quick 20 minutes arround the patch

That is absolutely unfair. After all you went to a lot of trouble choosing this thoughtful and useful present for her. Now I have heard it all :!:  They are never happy :!:

Yip, That's where Nasser also met me, so it wasn't his excellent powers of deduction that discovered my identity. If I had wanted everyone to know who I am, I would have registered under my own name, after all its no great secret. Why is it so important to some people to know who I am?
Fly-in? Maybe later in the year if everyone is keen again, Redeye. The local flying club holds a breakfast every first Saturday of the month and everyone's invited so its no great feat to organise whenever there's enough interest.
