You to can become famous as a aviation writer all you have to do is share your experiences with the editor.

Looking forward and have seen some of the work some very funny tricksand stories this time round.

Get ready to be surprised :o to discover who else the Scribe's been whipping into action ## ## ##

Hey, like I said right at the beginning, Afskies is the mag for adventure flyers, about adventure flying, and by adventure flyers... so get with the programme, subscribe and participate :!: !!!!

It's okay, Demon, 8) you can sit back and cast that line for da beeeg one... :D while the Scribes of the world do their scribbly thing to bring you the "wonderwerk van Wonderboom" to welcome you back from leave - the new 84-page April/May issue of African Skies. The minds they gonna be rattled :? :shock: , the feathers they gonna be ruffled :twisted: , the funnybones they gonna be tickled :lol: , but it's gonna be (almost) as much fun as trikes and triking :!: :) :D :lol:

My complimentary AFSKIES mag rained wet and was rendered useless/unreadable as a result :oops:

But......I want to subscribe. Can this be done via internet or fax - I am sitting in Maputo!

Well done to all, this is what we have been waiting for ages !!!! {}} >-(]
Thanks Demon :!: :D
Ja-ja, we'd been trying to get the April/May edition of African Skies out in time for the Wonderboom Airshow, but as we'd run to 88 pages :shock: it was being perfect bound and the printers said that, although they like to do the impossible, miracles tend to take a bit longer :!: So now the bigger, better & even brighter ( :P ) batch is winging its way to subscribers all over SA, rest of Africa, Europe and USA... and soon to Oz, if Cloud Warrior (and Cali!) get their act together. Sincere apologies for the delay, but when you receive your African Skies, I hope you'll agree that it's been well worth waiting for - Scribe's promise :!: Then it will be over to you to get going and participate with letters and contributions - let's really pull together to make African Skies a unifying force that will bring adventure flying enthusiasts together for the betterment of the sport as a whole :!: :D {}}
If you have not joined our happy little band of subscribers yet, you don't know what you're missing: we've been joined by the EAA (the Crosswind Chronicle is now included in African Skies) as well as AHASA (with an abbreviated Flying Start). Contributors include the irrepressible Mike "Mike2flyfar" Blyth, Graham "The Agent" Cooper, Barry "Demon" Culligan and the whole Rietfontein Gang, Kobus Gertenbach, Aidan Gersigny, Terry Hertz, Stan "Iceman" Hill, Kevin Katzke, Ivor Link, Alan Mackenzie, Shaun Melass, Glen Meyer, Johan "CloudBase" Meyer, Grant Murray, Brian Rogers, Alex "Xela" Rudd, Graham Speller, Andre Swanepoel, Gavin "Tailspin" van der Berg, Ron van Lear, Petri van Zyl, Roy Watson, Bacon van der Hoof and a hilarious Skytoon by the brilliant Nigel Babb... my grateful thanks and appreciation to you all. xxx
