Asterix is back. (If all would have me.)

Despite my recent run-inns with social networking in general and FB and this forum in particular, I feel rehabilitated. I Also made peace with the year-long restructuring at work that may influence my means of supporting my flying habit.

So if all would have me, I will come back with a clean profile. I promise not to rant and rave, and to be a little less opinionated.

If you would have me, thanx. If not - so be it.

PS: I still love trike flying, and trike pilots! (Some more than others.) - I am now proud owner of both Geelkerneels and a YELLOW (hoe anders?) Aero Trike Cobra!

Thanx Big D and Bundy - I'll tell the story about the gustfront on a separate topic. I went from hands off to clinging on for dear life,(and turbulence doesn't scare me easily) while feeling the shifts in wingload up my spine and saw an airspeed indicator going from 70mph to stallspeed and back again.... Guess what was in the backseat? First time trike pax... BAD weather call..

A lot has happened in the recent weeks regarding trike pilots with passengers, and I have done a lot of introspection since these incidents started to happen. Let me tell you - it is not only low flying that kills... I'll do a detailed report - without trying to save face.

Ja ja DLO!! Hierdie "DL" 's raak nou baie - DLO , DLY en nou ook DLP!! Marius I tried my best to spot you but I think you must have been doing 80 mph plus at that stage, 500 feet over me , and I was pu-pu-puulling bar to remain over 40 mph!

Ek was erg jaloers toe ek later agterkom jy was ALWEER op 'n ferry flight! My cobra lyk amper dieselfde as daai outjie wat jy afgevlieg het. Net bietjie mooier. Nog so maand dan kom "show ek af". Vlerk by Jenya tans. Hy makeer niks - maar julle ken my as dit kom by vlerke.....
