FAYP Airforce Humour

Postby Gyronaut » Fri Dec 16, 2011 9:06 pm

My Gyro was on display at Wings & Wheels at Ysterplaat last weekend.

When I arrived to fetch it after the weekend, under escort (it is a military base) a nervous looking team of airforce technical personnel greeting me with more than a little apprehension.

When I entered the hangar I saw why. Staring down at my little baby were TWO huge menacing Oryx helicopters and the sign - with driptray in case she wets herself - nogal. There was visible relief when I burst out laughing and proceeded to take photo's (Probably wasn't allowed to but I did).

Well done guys, I enjoyed your sense of humour. (^^)

The show was a huge success and I applaud the Airforce and all involved in the event for what they are doing for aviation, specifically in the Cape.
