582 Pull start

Postby Kingsteer » Tue Dec 06, 2011 7:36 pm

The pull start of my Rotax 582 won't wind back into its housing after trying to pull start my microlight for 10 minutes. How do I get it to wind back in?

As you said you pull started it for 10 minutes , eish the inside is plastic and its probably buggered - I suggest you carefully remove it , it may just be jammed , or else call the manaja at the bank as it is a costly execise - you could fit the older 503 ones with not too much hassle , Call should the problem remain Lepracxhaun

Hans from Microland used to have some of the older metal ones. Maybe try and contact him.
