I have just been reading through the latest SAHPA newsletter and came across the news that they have mananaged to secure insurance for their qualified tandem pilots, where their pax would be covered up to a max of R50 million. Excess is at R50k.
Has anyone done any research on pax insurance for LSA/MPL type operations?
Could MISASA maybe have a chat to their counterparts at SAHPA and see if it is something that could work within our fraternity, not only at a commercial level but at a normally qualified pilot level?
