Sorry to harp on but since the Mod topic was locked I'm unsure if the tone was condacsending to Skybound or to the regular Avcom bitchiness.

I think anyone having a blanket go at Avcom is responding to some oke who has never interacted with microlighters or has self never interacted with Avcommers or fixed wing aerries.

Form an opinion on a particular idiot but don't brandish a group because a few okes pi$$ed you off.

I've had some serious (^^) with Avcommers and plenty fix wingers and can assure you that any serious pilot either comes from a trike / miro background or has the utmost respect for us.

Of course you always get the arse but such is life.

AGGG NEEEE !!!!

I just typed a huge reply answering all and it didnt go through.

Heres the gist of it. I meant no disrespect to anyone on avcom ( im also an avcommer) and didnt mean to make anyone feel unwelcome here. Most will admit that MANY of the avcom threads wind up in an argument or bitching match... and im just trying to prevent that on microlighters.

In the original offending thread in question, I DID concede that the photo in question was perhaps offsides ( albeit NOT posted by me), I also said we would be more discerning about what pics were posted and extended the hand of friendship. I havent yet had a reply. For the record i didnt lock that thread.
A thread was started this morning- Which again I didnt lock. I did however PM my mobile number to the person who initiated that thread and as yet havent heard. - NOT sure what more Im supposed to do. \

if you feel I offended you I apologise, however if the glove fits wear it.

BBM (EX-Dish)

Thanks for you Answer. =D* =D*
Guys lets not throw stones, the Pics posted were all in Fun, there is about one Pic which is questionable. (**) (**)
I just think it was all done with toung in cheek. (^^) (^^)

If it does go Pear shape then I will remove the Pic. There was nothing wrong with having some Fun ($$) ($$) ($$) vhpy vhpy

Avcom does become a mud slinging match within minutes - Microlighters has allways been about FUN & FLYING. s059 s059
If something was posted that is not acceptable it will be removed and that is a Blanket statement including myself and whoever else makes the post. s072 s072 s071 s071

Hi Cornell

I do not think it is one against the other, the problem came in when all sorts of Comments were made about certain people not being pilots etc and that was when there was a thread specifically for us on Avcom.

So it is not one against the other, it is just two completely different outlooks of life and we can choose which one (or Both for that matter) to follow.I also log into Avcom every now and then but I personally do not like the way Avcom nails everybody as to how bad they are etc, here no matter what the situation we stand together, we are all here to Fly and it does not matter what you fly, Like Duckie says " Just Fly Man" . We leave the politics to some one else.

Just my 2$ Zim.

I have to add my few cents to this topic as the other one was locked before i could reply.

Just to say that I was highly offended by what I saw on this forum and these topics. I hold Mufasa, Gaylord and Tribal Croc personally responsible for my utmost disgust. I now demand a flip in the Bantam as well as Gaylords GT and one TC gets his trike a proper flip in that also...
What I found most disturbing is that Gaylord looks better naked than me..... My wife wants your number (**)
