So once again the persons at power feel that only part of the law is applicable !!!!!!!!!!!!!!
If I am not mistaken there are more to the sub part than just the 500Ft minima I am sure it includes, that if the flight can be conducted below 500Ft, it should not be an annoyance and now>>>>>>> that is to difficult for them to fathom ? >>>>>>>>>>>>so it is tossed out !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!.

NO WONDER EVERYONE LAUGHS AT THEM. What happened to the real representatives

In my mind it stays bullsh-t ##
where is the real evidence to nail the okes, not someone that feels that this is wrong and then pass a R10K fine on part of the law

HOW THE HELL CAN WE STAND FOR THIS?

I suggest that airshows are then also banned. I think they cause more of a hazard to people on the ground than any other kind of flying.

It is time to challenge the ruling of the CAA on this matter. They can not be allowed to issue huge fines based on subjective testimony.

What does the law say can the ruling be appealed and the matter transferred to a higher court?

An appeal was lodged, unceremoniously ignored and it is going to a higher authority...

I have always believed there is no height restriction over water - but cannot find it documented. Am I mistaken?

Oh by the way, catching up on this thread after being away, I was expecting one wheel on the beach kinda low! I think this is harsh in the extreme and should be challenged vociferously. You have my support.

I honestly can't read the reg numbers of an aerrie unless it's lower than 300 feet.

If the complainant cannot identify the reg without assistance like tracing movements from an airfield and unless the pilot is continiously circling a crowded or sensitive area but passing overhead then I don't see any way that the the legal system can impose a fine.

If it becomes ridiculous then some will consider removing reg numbers, ignore to renew the ATF and carry on regardless.

Ouch.....

Person on the beach... phone a friend at the airfield... friend at airfield goes looking... surprised to find owner of trike at field... oh, who's flying your trike then...?
Ohhhhhhhhhhhhhhh... out comes the axe to grind... the rest is what we are reading... REVENGE is BITTER SWEET

I tell you that if this is what recreational aviation is going to be about, then choose your friends wisely because when all is revealed, then associations(friends) are going to be highlighted and the circle is going to get smaller.... Daardie wiel...... hy draai.....!

Shouldn't we be......... "make the circle Biiiiiiiiigger!"
Jealousy has turned a man into a demon
Wounded from deep within
Love has turned to hate so murder fantasies
Beyond all reason can begin

And so your heart it fills with rage
Driven by words that sealed your fate
There's nothing left as we descent
Upon your Bitter Sweet Revenge

Pain grows stronger than you ever thought it could
Kiss of Judas brings deceit
Necromancer waits biding time
The serpent's venom taste bittersweet

Outbreak of panic, once oppressed
Crisis of anger self possessed
On mental scars shadows descend
Upon your Bitter Sweet Revenge

Taken quickly with precision
Pay for all repulsive lies
What once started as a vision
Becomes reality's demise

Anger is coming like a lust now
Eating slowly through your mind
Everlasting penetration
Ignore the fear deep in the eyes

There ain't no love without hate
There's no existence without fate

There's no beginning without end
There's no betrayal without revenge
