2012 Calendar - Vote 4 Favourites & Send More Pic's as alt's

Postby alanmack » Tue Jul 26, 2011 11:29 am

The Xmas edition of the Microlight Africa magazine could contain an inner 12 pages that are a page a month printed sideways (landscape). We could print punch hole markers for you to punch two holes in it with your paper punch and then you could hang your mag on the wall. The extra pages ( the rest of the mag) can be at the back so it will weigh down the mag hanging on the wall.

In this way the mag could contain a free 2012 calendar. The calendar as a desktop PC screensaver could also be available on the website as a download

Your thoughts?

SEND YOUR PICTURES TO NEMO@WEBO.CO.ZA AND I WILL LOAD THEM HERE AS EG PAGES. POLL is for the best 12 PICTURES - you can return and change your vote as I add options.

As you send pictures - I will drop off the least popular and the top favourites can be the calendar if the idea is popular. All popular ones can be placed on MISASA website for download as PC screen savers.

I have a kitchen, and it works well !!! Gav, if you ever accepted an invitation for a braai, you would see how well that kitchen churns out beers, wine, spiced gold and red bull, gluewein other miscellaneous drinks and ice,,,, oh and some salads and deserts if the softnesses are present..

Think the calenders a fab idea but imho i do think we shoiuld keep it to pics of aircraft flying or (like the zwartkops one) at an event. While I NEVER complain about seeing a hot blonde we have 12 pages here, going to be displayed in pubs, and offices all over SA, lets keep it to lekker flying photos's ??

just my 2c

Next time get me an invite a bit sooner so i have more time to plan around the Littleones.

Also think we should keep it to Aviation - Have enough pics of hot Babes all over the office.

Great idea! I agree with Dish, though - drop the guys. I'm more flexible about the hot blondes!

Mmm... poor Janet - she is a pilot by the way - see the latest magazine - her sister works for Doc Opperman - ask him - or go for a checkup! She was wearing her overcoat and boots for the picture taken by her toyboy who does not fly - he just pulls on the tug-o-war rope to stay fit - Anyway she put her aviation sunglasses on 'cause the back page pic is well - a back page pic! - not one vote yet has been cast and no alternative pictures have been received. What about a fireside picture featuring the braai?

I agree Nicow... I think the photos should portray flight and we need to encompass the AIRCRAFT we (MISASA) represent thus .... CCM , WCM & LSA! Also those registered and flying in SA? Hi Res photies of trikes, 2 & 3 axis, microlights and the LSA type aeries are the ones I think! :)

No Paul... no rotors in this one I'm afraid

Ja, thanks for the story of the Gariep fly-In.... vhpy but I I had to read it in African Pilot & SA FLYER in the same month.... albeit from 2 different sources!
