Congrats Ruan

Now that you know how to use an eggbeater, will there be omelets for breakfast at Springs?

Well it was vey cold at Springs for departure but there was no wind to speak of! The flight to Nylstroom was uneventful but scenic as picked up Leon at Kitty Hawk and headed for Rust de Winter and the dam. The landing at Nylsroom was smooth with the windsock hardly moving. After a BIG breakfast we headed for Kitty Hawk. After take off the thermals were doing what they do best and that it where I saw the reason people rave about gyros! Flying in the middle of the day with thermals and some dust devils in the distance and still it was effortless and enjoyable! The landing at Kitty Hawk was tricky as the wind was gusting across the runway but we made it down without to many problems. After some a little chat we routed for Springs and landed safely at around 14:30! Awesome flying!

Jip the advantage of the gyro is that it gives you more chance to fly , where other might not !

Glad you enjoyed

Fantastic Splinter, enjoy every moment.
You worked hard for it and you know how to do it safely, all that remains now is that you continue doing it safely and ENJOY!

Keep spreading your newfound wings.

Een van die dae kom kuier jy sommer vir ons hier in die mooiste Kaap! (^^)
Djy's altyd welkom my bru
