Just take off, head South East, cross the witbank highway about 7 miles north East of Delmas and follow the big Sasol flame.

The airfield lies 2 miles north of Sasol, circuits to the north, runway 11 and 29 report 10 miles out on 122. :)

Hi Darren,

There will be a few Gyro's leaving from Springs and I believe the regulars from Kitty will join as well, so there will be a pack to follow.

Regards,
Jacques

Hi All

Glen I hope that someone has paid for your rugby tickets, accomodation and travel. Dosn't make sense to spend all that time and money just to watch the Springboks lose :P :P its not to late to come with us to Secunda

Hi Gents.

I went and visited Hannes and Riaan, as the main organisers for the show. They planned a full program and have allocated camping space from the Friday evening on the airfield. There will also be a braai for the visitors. There is a shower and toilet facilities available. The camping area will also be closed off during the show on the Saturday for other public. (Your own private showground). On the Saturday there will be time to depart during lunch, 13h00 plus, and the show will close around 16h00. There will be a beertent and also a bigscreen in one of the hangars, to follow the rugby. Meat and braais will be available the evening. You can then leave on the Sunday after breakfast.

I should be there from the Friday around 12h00 if you need info regarding weather, parking, etc.

Greetings, and i hope to see you there.

Good day,

As per telephone conversation, South African Weather Service is willing to participate in the Secunda airshow.

We will appreciate a hangar space for our information exhibit, as well as giving weather briefings to the pilots before the airshow. Usually we do briefings on the evening before and also on the day of the airshow, you will update me when you require them.

Warmest regards

Ntobeko Nkangane (Mr)

It would be nice to have Low Level joining us. We could put a For sale sign on his gyro, seeing that he has lost interest in flying!
