Not a bad idea to use Avcom as well. Go for it.

Maybe Hog and Iceage can do some punting under their members at Kroon, but I'm sure they would have.

Dish and Gavin at Aeroden, kick some members there as well !

I will try and reach the Aviators Paradise pilots this weekend.

I have also received my clearance...and today I spoke to Flight Planning at ATNS and confrimed my route from Kliprivier... First time I will be flying over JHB and Sandton...WOW...this is going down in the memory books as one of the greatest.

Les, how many confirmed?

Hi Guys. Rules same as last year

Aircraft that are flying in from the EAST must contact Waterkloof ATC to be routed through the Pinedene corridor. Once Waterkloof has passed you on to Swartkop you must follow their instructions. If no answer from SK please route to SK via the OLD JOHANNESBURG Rd.

Aircraft that are flying in from The West must route to SK via the Shell Ultra City along OLD JOHANNESBURG Rd to SK. Please follow the ATC instructions

Swartkop ATC will go on duty at 07:30. Any aircraft that arrive at the airfield BEFORE 07:30 are required to join at 5700ft-6300ft and conform to the circuit as follows:

Runway 20 Righthand circuit
Runway 02 Lefthand circuit.

Please be aware that landings before 07:30 MUST expedite unmanned procedures. All calls relevant to your position in the circuit MUST be made.

I trust that ,as last year, the ATC will be on duty from early to guide us in safely.

Tel no's: ATC Swartkop 012 351 2115
Waterkloof 012 672 3251

Frequencies: Swartkop 123.2
Waterkloof 124.1

Also us plebs that are not flying in (me, my softness & pilot to be) - how do we get access to the base! do the film crew need clearances to use their equipment there?

Please advise dear sir! :-)
