SACAA introduced a fining system

Exactly what I said before.

The SAP (like the spietkops) will go out of their way to be able to write a fine but do not have a vehicle or petrol or are busy changing shifts or whatever excuse they can come up with when you need them to respond to a crime.

Why? Because if they can write a fine, the posibility of soliciting a bribe presents itself to the untrained and underpaid members of the security cluster.

Wait until they pull the AARTO move where you are automatically guilty unless you jump through a million hoops to be able to defend yourself in court or they appoint sub-contracted "inspectors" to be able to write more fines.

Until SA have professional and trained people in uniform that are properly remunerated, the evil circle will continue.

We need control in aviation but it should be left to the few capable inspectors we have.
