North meets South 2011 - Gariep 20-22 May 11, 73 GYRO'S

66 Gyros in the picture, but 72 Gyros @ Gariep today. Dit was uit en uit die moeite werd. Baie dankie aan almal wat betrokke was by die reelings. Dit was lekke om weer n klomp nuwe mense te ontmoed, sien jul in 3 weke by die Alldays flyinn. Ons beplan om more oggend 6:30 te vertrek en die roete lyk so: Gariep, New Tempe, Kroonstad, Heidelberg, Witbank, Potgietersrus, Alldays. Hoop almal kom veilig tuis. Vlieg veilig, ons maak weer so!

Pls let me know if anyone found a pair of Serengeti sunglasses in the bigger hangar. Must have dropped it this morning. Thnx

For the official photo and count we had 66 on the apron at the same time .

The morning before the photo , one Gyro unfortunately had to leave early .

Later after the Photo we had 6 more gyro's that arrived .

So for the Record claim we had 66 Gyro's but we had 73 Gyro on the airfield over the weekend .

THanks to everybody that flew in , NEXT YEAR it will be 100 .

Dankie julle, dit was Gr8. Ek is veilig terug op Alldays, ek sal later bietjie meer vertel oor my trip, is nou gatvol gevlieg. +/- 2450km en +/- 16 ure in n Gyro in 5 dae is nie grappies nie maar was n belewenis. EK het ondervinding opgedoen wat geld nie kan koop. ALLES WAS LEKKER, MAAR DIE LEKKERSTE VAN ALLES WAS OM MY 4 MAANDE OU SEUNTJIE EN MY VROU WEER TE SIEN.
