Morning :P

Indeed weather was super k@k...

Yesterday was the only day I flew..in the morning myself,Willem and Francious planned a trip to Aero 57 which I was really keen to do as we would be on the radio with Lanseria routing through their airspace...but the mist had another plan for us..

So after coffee, still waiting...we decided to have breakfast at the Magalies Wimpy

I must say,it was interesting as the three of us walked in there with our flight suits..people stared

Got back to the airfield just before 9 and the mist was still there but not bad,so we took off and just stuck around the area as the mist was in the direction we wanted to go...some nice thermal activity over Tarlton Raceway which I really enjoyed playing with ##

Then yesterday afternoon took my neighbour and his fam,my two nephews, total people I took up in the afternoon was 5..and they all loved it vhpy

Wind was pumping from the NW but it was awesome as I have super soft landing and super fast low levels...there will now be another triker as my neighbour will be doing the training and his wife is all too excited to fly with him since she could not stop smiling after the flip..and I promise I did not touch her legs while up there ##

Have an awesome one :!:

Hey Raf,

Well at least you getting some form of flying in....I can't even get my RC planes out...as I fly electric the wind must be nearly non existant...

Hoping the weather holds out for saturday as I got my comms sorted yesterday...so I will go and install it into the trike tomorrow again and hopefully all will be 5/5....

Looking forward to the flight saturday...hope Tailspin can join us as well...nice to have a good gaggle of trikes together for the video footage...

Shaweeet...

Hi Madman

We use the oil from Commet but will check with DH to see what is available still for me. If not i will get some tomorrow.

The Pink Lady is very Slow and what i will do is give you a shout as soon as i am Airbourne from Aeroden and if WX is good maybe we can meet up on the way to Fochville or i can get you guys at Carltonville if Juice is Limited.

Either way i will give you a call - either in the air or over Cellular.

Heya peeps,

Glad you got the comms sorted Gary,it is going to be funtastic, long last did a breakie with a bunch of trikes

Cool Gav,I don't mind slow...you get to take in the scenery :)

I will then catch on 124.8,but here is my number 0 7 3 8 4 3 7 6 9 8 in any case.

For sure,I warned them all,she was all too excited and told me to go ahead...They offered to put fuel, but I already had 45 litres,so I took them up...what was funny is that they said they will next time bring 100l of Mogas cos they wanna do it again ##

Always nice introducing people to what we enjoy...everyone always wondered where I go with my kit bag,ha ha ha...now they know :)

Come on amigos..let's have some fun this weekend...

Perhaps we should have an outlanding one weekend somewhere and have a braai...carry your braai pack and cola, someone the small braai, someone the charcoal..ha ha,or we all bring a small packet of charcoal, that way it ain't on anyones back seat...now that sounds like fun..what do you guys think :?:
