Re: Airfield annual member fees, hangar rental.
FABS (Brits)
Annual membership R 500.00
Annual aircraft fee R 550.00
If you have your own hangar R 15.00 / m² per annum
Hangars are owner built
Water and electricity is supplied free of charge to each hangar (unless you run a bussiness)
The average hangar fee asked by hangar owners range between R 350.00 - 450.00 per month.
The property belongs to Public Works and the club has a long term lease with them at a nominal annual fee.
We do all our own maintenance, development and improvements and this is covered by club fees, profit from Avgas sales and when needed special fund raisers.

Thanks so far. Only 4 responses.
If its confidential, don't put the airstrip, or find the PM button under my picture, press it and send it me personally.

Re: Airfield annual member fees, hangar rental.
FAUH - Municipal field with the user association having a lease
R1.20/m2 per month (So if a 12 x 12 hangar = approx R250 per month)
Hangars erected at owners expense
Electricity recovered on usage basis (all hangars have meters)
Water is a shared expense as usage is really low at this stage.
We do all grass cutting and rwy maintenance
4 Grass runways all in excess of 1,000m
No lights
No landing fees for visiting recreational pilots.
Charge non resident, commercial users a quarterly fee.
