Just bear in mind that you have to pay an additional BIS monthly subscription of roundabout R60 per month in order to be able to use the "free" messenger with other BB users, but then all your internet browsing and Email on the handset is included in that subscription.

and remember to turn mobile networks OFF while roaming when you leave the country or you will end up with a R10K phone bill like me. :shock:

Whatsapp does what BBM does exclusively for BB, only difference is whatsapp runs on Blackberry, Android and many Nokia's.... way cheaper than SMS.
