As matter of interest. Does anyone have an aerial shot? We stopped there on Sat but I forgot to look for the airstrip... Pee and food was more of a priority with the rug rats in the car...

Stopped there a coupla days ago. The grass seem a bit long but it looks decent enough to land on. There was a trench across it some time ago. I didn't notice it this time round.
Land short or long is my guess.

Was there the beginning of the week and the grass was cut. Trench is gone, so happy landings.

Hi T-Bird
When are you guys going down? We are also at Margate from Easter weekend for a week. We are 3 Trikes from Kroon. If you are there for same period, will see you there.

So, which side of the N3, where? What is the procedure? Do you get close enought to the pumps switch off and hand push or taxi through the traffic using hand signals for turning left or right? LOL

Eastern side of highway between HW and pumps. We normaly stop next to runway and fillup cans because of too much traffic and also the premix story. I see that some trikes and giro's actually taxi to the pumps.
