I want to tour Nam with a trike.
That is If I still feel like it after my visit to the Fish River Canyon with Asterix and Bugwar..!!
Because it is a 'tour' I dont feel like making a lot of arrangements and fixed destinations with a time table before the time..
I want to fly in Nam from the South to the Norh and back along no definate route.. :o :o :o
Therefor I will need parking place, landing place, re-fueling places and knowledge of runways on farms and Lodges.
What-ever you can help with.!!! -0< -0< -0< -0<

Hi Blue Max

I did a trip to Nam with a Trike some 10 years ago. Probably rates as my best flying experience yet. Nam is an awesome country to fly in. The desert landscapes are magnificent and very varied. The light and colour almost seems exaggerated. I did not get as far as Kunene and did not do the Fish, so I intend going back some time. Don't miss it. People are very helpful and friendly. Particularly memorable was the Town of Swakopmund where we stayed a few days, Sesriem - Sosouslvlei, the Gramadulas - Kuseb canyon, Spietskop, die Verbrandeberg - Doros Crater - Twyfelfontein.

Blue Max

The appropriate route would be to co-ordinate it with Namibia Microlight Association. Their website is http://www.mican.com.na/

Correctly mentioned by JP - the gent to contact is Hanno Snyman and he does frequent our forum. His e-mail address is hannos@agra.com.na

MISASA would obviously assist in any way we can....
