Trike flying in Margate

Postby EricS » Wed Apr 06, 2011 6:01 pm

I am going down to Margate often, but in three years, only saw 2 trikes, so I presume restricted area etc etc. Is there anyone down there who's got a 'hire and fly' trike whom I can tie up with ?

Hi Eric
I am not aware of any restricted area at Margate. We fly down to Margate once a year and we are going down now Easter weekend again. We base at Margate but fly down to the Wild Coast every day.

There is some Trikes hangered there but in all the times that we have been there, not much activity. John Young fly from somewhere on the South Coast, maybe he can help with a reference.

There are no restrictions at all. All the way down the wild coast. Peter Harley and Dan Momberg are the only two trikes pilots opperating from Margate, although there are another two trikes, but at the moment are not active. We fly from munster, so if in the area give me a shout. If I can get to meet you, it will be great. We have a Foxbat,
Bush Baby and the best of all, Savannah.
Cheers, (^^)
Vernon.
