I know of a nice Mac CDL in Swellendam that the owner wants to part with, sails are still in good condition. I think he wants R12000 for it .

Wow! Only seen this thread now! We have great fun with our MXII, and when I think of it in winds, I think of that delivery flight you did for us with ZS-VAP from Bapsfontein to Witbank Henni.
We have done many flights from Witbank to Middelburg, around the town and cabbage patch and love our MXII. There are three of us that fly it regularly. I don't know how you can talk about it 'gliding' though! In the event of an engine out it just falls 'without grace'
It certainly goes nowhere slowly and you need a flask of coffee and a sandwich to fly a circuit, but that's part of the fun (it does everything at 40m/h). Its most certainly built strong. We often fly when trikes stay on the ground and we have less hours on it than for example Henni.
