Grumpy knows his stuff - I am a bassist, but have played a little drums in my time, have to agree that feel on the electronic set is very different, but if you live as close as I do to your neighbours than electronic is the only real option.Stay away from Syndrums (Synthesizer Drums) for beginner. The feel, the action and all is just not the same.
