transponder wiring

Postby obelix » Thu Mar 03, 2011 11:18 am

Hi everyone

Urgent help needed.

I have this King Transponder KT 76A. See pic with serial no. etc. I need a wiring diagram or something showing where, what and how to connect. Does anyone have something or can anyone point me in the right direction where to look for something like this.

Without wanting to come across as confrontational or arrogant............I have to ask the question: Have you tried Google? You know, that search engine thing that everyone talks about?
It took me exactly all of 3 minutes to find 3 schematics on different websites.

Try it, it works........
Airspeed, altitude, or brains....you always need at least two

Hi Duck

I did google, found only below information. Now it looked a bit sketchy and wanted to confirm. Are you aware that most electronics stop working when the smoke comes out :?:

Found this: http://www.aeroelectric.com/Installation_Data/

If you post your 3 links with the info you found, this can be quite a useful thread for future reference.

I confirmed with the Guys at Aref Avionincs and sure thing, you only connect pin 11 to +12V and pin 1 and A are grounded. It was actually as simple as that if you do not have an encoder dimmer or anything else.
