Fish River Canyon

Fellow Microlight Pilots

Asterix and I are planning a trip to NAM(ibia).

This will be an 11 day trip with our planned destination being the Fish River Canyon but as it is first and foremost an adventure, we may not end up at the Fish River (weather,customs, etc.) but we will be flying for 11 days.

Anyone interested in flying with us to Nam , please send me an e-mail.

23 April - Lindbergh lodge to Sishen via Reivilo
24 April - Sishen to Uppington
25 April - Uppington to Karasburg via Ariamsvlei
26 April - Karasburg to Canon Lodge
27 April - Canon Lodge
28 April - Canon Lodge to Uppington via Karasburg and Ariamsvlei
29 April - Uppington to Reivilo via Sishen
30 April - Reivilo to Potch Via Wolmeransstad
01 May - Potch to Microland.

If you know the contact details of people we can contact to arrange fuel or nearby airstrips that would be easier to get fuel and accommodation for us and our planes, please let me know it will be much appreciated.

Hi Paul. ons het ontmoet by Sebaka lodge - Greg(van kroon). As my finnansies reg is daai tyd sal ek moontlik belangstel om saam te kom.

Hi Paul

I do have a contact in Karasburg and maybe someone in Ariamsvlei that might be able to assist if they are not going away over the Easter weekend, I will also be on the farm in Southern Namibia during that week, if you have a crisis I can always try to make a plan.

I did that trip 18 month agow. best trip ever, fly the canyon early in the morning because of thermals

I hiked that canyon and this is a much better view!!!

No doubt an amazing experience!
