What weather sites do you use ??
Hi Jaco, I use Easy weather on Easyplan. According to that we are going to have some wind from the North East up to 10 mph.

What a pity! Clouds were thick and low and kept on coming from the North. Decided to quit- it wouldn't have been a pleasure to fly in that weather. What about next week to give it a try again? vhpy

Rhino is currently a bit of a mess. The first layer of bitumen is on the runway, therefore temporary taxiways goes around the runway, and were Saturday not in a very good state. You have to taxi about a kilometre to get to the temporary runway, and then a lenghty backtrack as well. The rain also didn't help, therefore the whole area around the runway is currently only good for a 4x4 experience, because of the heavy machinery doing their thing.

According to the contractor, final tar this week, a few days to cure, and we will be able to use the tar runway by the 19th.

How about a big inauguration brekkie next week Saturday? vhpy

Just a thought.

Seeing that we did not go to Rhino this weekend, three of us guys at Ingwe went to Kokoriba on Saturday morning. What a nice day for flying vhpy

We landed at Roddekoppie dam and then off to Kokoriba.

So. what about a nice fly-day this comming Saturday. Will Rhino be available for breakfast with a new runway all up and running? Will see how many Ingwe guys are available this weekend for a flip. Kroon and Aeroden are you guys also flying? Maybe meet up North and fly along the ridge as planned before?
