Eagle Flight Academy is situated on a farm in the Northern Cape, 20km from Hartswater, 80km from Kimberley and 150km from Bloemfontein.
Being on a farm, we offer you a quiet place to commit to your training. We have less than 50 rainy days a year, which means that we have the perfect weather for flying.

Air Space

What makes us different from all the other flight academies?
Because of our available air space, there is no air traffic nearby. This means that where other academies spend up to 30 minutes on the ground waiting for a clear sky for a safe takeoff, we use the time flying.

Instructors

Our Pilot training is done by two highly qualified grade 2 professional Flight Training Instructors.

7 days a week

Our flight training academy is open 7 days a week and offers pilot ground school, flight simulator training, flying courses and flying lessons.
Specialization
We specialize in Private Pilot Flight Training up to and including Instructor Flight Training. We are a flying school specializing in flight training services from Micro Pilot License to Light Sports Aircraft, Private Pilot License and Commercial Pilot License.
For your convenience
Pilot Lessons can be scheduled to suit your time schedule.
Accommodation
We have rooms with air-conditioning, a private bathroom and television available for rent on the premises. This also includes 3 meals per day and laundry.

Hi Stephan - trusting this is permissable.
Well done guys! When I did my MPL training in the 80's, I had to go to Bloem - New Tempe !!!
I left "die Skema" in 1991 and lost contact with all my flying buddies in Hartswater - are they still around (Gert - Jewelry shop, Andre - tire business, Koos - digger & Sias farmer (he flys/flew fixed wind as well!) I would love to make contact again. They will remember me most probably by my nick name then "Slang" - I was "Die Giftige Barman" at the Golf Club (amongst other things.)
