Missing in Action

Postby LarryMcG » Tue Jan 04, 2011 12:04 pm

Hi All

Will be missing for a while, tackling the trip of a lifetime. Hoping to fly home again, time will tell. No fixed agenda, no fixed time period. Almost ready to leave.

Hi Larry i wish you and Sharon well on your big trip and may all go well and take care. This is once in a life time and to be able to do this with your wife can be great.

Thanks, Guys!

Paul - will be taking a while, no hurry at all, anything from 3 months to two years, or as long as we are ejoying ourselves!

Paul Zulu - will let you know - update blog, but have got a carnet arranged - on way to PE today to collect. Visas are more tricky, cannot apply yet for most countries, as we dont want to know dates, so will apply as we go along. Got Two passports. Thanks for offer of bed, but will probably skip straight to Swazi, as the other two going with us as far as malawi only have 3 weeks, so first week will be pushing to get there. After that, we will slow way down!

I have found the two missing in action in Arusha Tanzania on Friday. They left Arusha at 11am this morning heading west towards the Serengetti. I am waiting to get co-ords from them tonight and will take off at first light to try and catch up with them. I might get a picture of two dust stripes moving over the ground. vhpy
