I've bought the 5009 filter from Mercedes Benz. The filter mesh is 0.3
Accoring to the sales guy, lots of aviators buy this filter for their aeries. Its is a diesel filter but also works for Petrol.
May I use it with premix petrol?

The last batch of the Merc filters I bought were translucent, so you can see the fuel level in them and any debris at the low end. Buy a bunch, cheap as chips and quick to replace. I always dissect them afterward.

Update ;
I downloaded the GUD catalogue from their website.
The GUD BC 68 is the replacement for the Mercedes 001 477 66 01 filter featured by John Young.
It's also a replacement for 001 477 79 01 and EOFF50 Mercedes diesel filters.
There is no BC 69 filter in the catalogue. www.gud.co.za
