flip bantam

My suggestion would be not to buy right away. First do the first 10 to 15 hours of your training, get a feel for gyros and their flight characteristics and decide what you like and want in the gyros and then you can start to shop around.

All the gyros in South Africa are safe and the decision should really only be value for money and your own personal preference. First get some gyro experience and then decide.

Hi,

This has been asked before, a search will reveal the discussions, basically they all have their good and bad points but it is also subjective, and depends a lot on the "mission"

Hi Flip

My 2 cents of advice:

The current Gyros on the market are very much on par.(same as BMW, Merc, Volvo etc)
Make an appointments with the current Gyro agents/manufactures.

With the first introduction you will experience for yourself the service that you will get from that agent/manufacturer if you buy his product.
It is like marriage, you are very dependant on after sales service and back up.

Go for a intro flight and see for yourself if the following appeals to you:
Open or close cockpit
Tandem or side by side

Then speak to the current flight Instructors on your choice.
To fly is LIFE...!!!
Keep on LIVING...!!

Hi daar Flip
Ek is tans besig met opleiding by Springs lughawe. My instrukteer is Rainier van Rensburg. Hy doen opleiding op die Magni , Ela en die Mt. Ons het n lekker groot Hanger, en tans is daar so 13 Gyrocopters by ons gehuisves. Jy kan hom gerus kontak vir raad.

Maak Saterdag 'n draai by FAKR fly in. Daar sal 'n paar gyros daar wees en alkyd 'n pilot om vir jou 'n flip te gee.
