"Beauty and the beast" gets my vote for Photo of the Year !

Not that any of the other photos here are not worthy winners, but the cheek of the shot is (!!) (!!) (!!)

Thanks Kloot mate, I think I may have to apply for another name change, I love the Gyronauty bit!! :lol: :lol: :lol:

It takes b@lls to sidle up to that mean looking machine with 6x200 ltr drums parked next to it and sneak a photo, trust me, I watched that cannon on the nose all the time. :lol:

Nah, I am kidding of course. We met 'Major Kobus', Ricardo, Eben and Petri (the pilots and co-pilots) at FABW and had a great evening around the braai chewing the fat about general aviation. You couldn't wish to meet nicer people in the middle of nowhere! Thorough gentlemen and totally modest in spite of the fact that they were flying the countries most advanced helicopters.

Hats off to them!

PS We got home safely to Cape Town before them! (ok ok they went via Oudtshoorn and George but that doesn't matter) (^^)
