Hi Guys.

I humbly accept your well wishes and compliments. Thank you all!... I wish to acknowledge the following individuals who's positive attitude and co operation made the day a huge success.

Lt Col Clive Sheperd: for processing the documents and arrangements and making sure that all the pilots received their clearances.

Col Zurich: for allowing us to use the base

Gary Heydenreich: for designing the logo for the badge and his positive encouragement ongoing( all the way from Kathu, Nothern Cape))

Shirley Rudd: for going out of her way to ensure that the badge was ready at very short notice. I will most certainly make use of your service in the future AND!..recommend you to all.

Capt. Kirsten: who was in charge of the ATC on Saturday. I have yet to experience a more likable and professional ATC and most civvie ATC's could take a page out of Capt. Kirsten's book on how to control a fly-in.

To ALL the participating pilots: It was YOU guys who made the day a HUGE success. THANK YOU for doing the documents and being positive regarding the arrangements.. AND showing the "other pilots" that we CAN be just as professional on a day such as this

I will be handing over the amount of R1450.00 to Lt Col. Sheperd as a donation to the SAAF Museum. This is from the proceeds from the sale of the badges.

Yes thanks Les for organizing. What an amazing turnout, ive never seen so many trikes together at one time! And then they went and stuck us fixed wings in a little corner somewhere :(

It was such a perfect flyday that we just carried on flying, after swart we went to kitty for breakfast, then the dam, then springs, then petit and back to micro, what a beautiful day. (^^)

Hi Les,
Once again, thank you to ALL that made this event possible! I agree whole heartedly with your comments, especially w.r.t the ATC. (^^)
Good to have seen all the pilots together - must admit, I have never seen so many trikes in one place.

This could be a good opportunity in future to raise funds for the SAAF museum if held more regularly.. vhpy

I really enjoyed the day, we stayed for the whole "show", ended up leaving around 13:30, the last plane to leave vhpy

Thanks LES

On behalf of the BANTAM SQUADRON of six that flew in for organizing this great event!

Hope you guys enjoyed our formation fly-past and break-away we did? This was our first time with practically no practise and we formed up over Aero57 prior to joining on 02.

Pity we did not have time much to chat to you guys as we were still having breakfast when you guys starting leaving in your hoards.

Thanks Again!!

PS Mailed you for the badge
